“We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret,” said Roger Waters. “It’ll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75% of it will be old material and 25% will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It’ll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”
Whilst we cannot “Officially” confirm a release date for the album, Many articles have appeared online claiming that album is scheduled “for an early May release in advance of Waters’ first tour date” and naturally we will be keeping you up to date as more information becomes available.
Below is a snippet of some video footage of some potential new material that has appeared online on one of Rogers social media accounts..
Following his performance of the show on December 13th 2016 in Dubai, “Guy Pratt is The Sideman” is lined up for another unmissable performance, this time being held at Juju’s Bar and Stange, London on Friday 10th February 2017
GUY PRATT IS THE SIDEMAN: a one-man show celebrating 30 years as the bass player of choice for the heavyweights of rock and pop. Guy Pratt is a Grammy award winning bassist who has played live and on record with such megastars as Pink Floyd, David Gilmour, Roxy Music, Bryan ferry, Robert Palmer, Gary Moore, Womack & Womack, Jimmy page and David Coverdale… and worked as a studio sideman for artists including Madonna, Michael Jackson, the pretenders, Kirsty MacColl and Elton John.
In his one man, Guy regales audiences with stories from behind behind the scenes. His self-deprecating wit is irrestible and so are his rip-roaring anecdotes. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry. If you’re a musician, you’ll probably sue…
“Bass players are ten a penny, but a good wit is hard to find, so we hired him”
– David Gilmour
The event starts at 9pm and Tickets are available at a bargain of £12 (plus fees) from Seetickets.com.
A new interview has appeared online featuring Pink Floyd : Live At Pompeii director Adrian Maben.
The interview has appeared on Italian news website Republican and has confirmed a expanded and re-released edition of the 1971 feature film…

Pink Floyd At Pompeii, book is an incredible journey undertaken by the authors with Adrian Maben, director of “Pink Floyd Live At Pompeii“.
The film, shot in 1971, has fascinated generations for over forty years and is still extraordinarily lively in the imagination of rock fans; more so because it came at a crucial time over the course of the two years when Pink Floyd, an underground band, became international rock stars – the years of Meddle and The Dark Side of the Moon.
The book digs deeply into the folds of that era and examines the vast ocean of facts and anecdotes, behind the scenes events, memorable stories and precious documents kept by the director. Mr. Maben often tells in first person, providing the narrative with authenticity and historical documentation. His active collaboration has made this book sort of a personal memorial; along with his personal memories, the director has made available the entire archive he kept for over forty years, with mostly unrealeased material.
The book consists of thirteen chapters divided into different subsections.
To further enhance the vast iconography, the book presents collectors’ rarities belonging to The Lunatics, the group of mega collectors among which are the authors themselves.
This is the third book of the group and follows the two successful books, “Pink Floyd. Storie e Segreti” (2012) and “Il Fiume Infinito. Tutte le Canzoni dei Pink Floyd” (2014), both published by Giunti Editore.

Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains, the official book (planned to be 304 fully illustrated pages) to accompany the exhibition of the same name, which opens at London’s Victoria & Albert museum on May 13th 2017.
This is the first book ever produced with full access to the Pink Floyd archive. Published to accompany the V&A’s major summer exhibition, Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains, The book celebrates 50 years of one of the greatest bands of all time. Five separate essays tackle different aspects of their far-reaching legacy in music and the visual arts.

Their epic staging and performance impact will also be explored, along with the anti-authoritarianism that infuses their lyrics.
The book has been put together by Victoria Broackes and Anna Landreth Strong. Broackes is Senior Curator and Head of Exhibitions for the Department of Theatre and Performance at the V&A. She has produced a number of successful touring exhibitions, including You Say You Want a Revolution? and David Bowie Is. Landreth Strong is Curator of Modern and Contemporary Performance at the V&A.

Roger Waters announces a new tour entitled Us & Them.
The Us + Them tour will launch in the U.S. on May 26 in Kansas City and wrap up on Oct. 28 in Vancouver. In between, he’ll play more than 40 dates in the States and Canada, including shows in Denver, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Boston and Toronto. You can see the full list of tour dates below.
A press release has been released and promises the tour “will showcase highlights from Waters’ groundbreaking body of work.” Presumably, the 1973 song that gives the tour its name — “Us and Them,” from Pink Floyd‘s landmark The Dark Side of the Moon album — will be one of them.
“We are going to take a new show on the road, the content is very secret,” Waters says. “It’ll be a mixture of stuff from my long career, stuff from my years with Pink Floyd, some new things. Probably 75 percent of it will be old material and 25 percent will be new, but it will be all connected by a general theme. It will be a cool show, I promise you. It’ll be spectacular like all my shows have been.”
The press release also notes that Waters’ stage show feature a state-of-the-art audio-visual production and quad sound, and hints that the upcoming concerts will include even more spectacular sights and sounds.
This will be Waters’ first tour since The Wall Live, which ran from 2010-13. That world tour reached more than four million fans and, according to the press release, “remains the highest grossing tour by any solo artist in history.”
Tickets for Roger Waters – Us + Them go on sale on Oct. 21; VIP packages and tickets start on sale now (except for the Canadian dates). In addition to the shows listed below, concerts in San Antonio and Winnipeg will be added later.
