Until July 2nd, you have the chance to acquire the famous orange and blue painted wooden floor that was featured on the cover of Syd Barrett’s solo album ‘The Madcap Laughs’ (1970). Syd Barrett himself painted the floorboards before the photo shoot with Mick Rock & Storm Thorgerson, and it was Storm’s photograph that ended up on the album cover.

The vendor has purchased the London flat where the shoot took place and removed the boards during renovations. There are approximately 70 planks available, mostly in lengths of around 2.7m.
