The reports are flooding in now from the second-to-last show at the Royal Albert Hall, with David and his band delivering a stunning performance that left many in tears. They played beautifully, and some calling it the best show of the tour thus far! A new addition to the setlist tonight with, “A Single Spark,” which now rounds out the entire new album, Luck and Strange. Below are some show thoughts from our forum members:
“On the way home from tonight’s gig…
Can’t believe how different tonight was from Rome, absolutely phenomenal and I’m not going to pretend I have something in my eye, the tears were flowing throughout.” – thanks to Cpl.Clegg
“Scattered solo was extended tonight. Now 4 phases rather than 3. Feels complete now.
Might have been the best version of Comfortably Numb I’ve ever heard and I’ve heard a few! Might be because it was my last show and likely my last time seeing David, but I stand by it!
Amazing show. Perhaps the best of the four I attended at the RAH. Seated next to a wonderful older couple from Canada and just two rows in front of our very own oneslip17.
Aussie Floyd tomorrow night in Northampton to cap off one of the biggest – and best – weeks of my life.” – thanks to bboynexus
