This afternoon marks the second rehearsal show, referred to as a ‘matinee performance,’ for David Gilmour’s upcoming Luck and Strange tour. A lucky audience of 1,500 at the Brighton Centre in the UK will experience a special preview of David’s forthcoming live performances in Rome, London, Los Angeles, and New York. David last did a preview show here in 2015, just before his Rattle That Lock tour.

“I thought it was an amazing show. It’s hard to believe it was just a rehearsal, and even harder to imagine how incredible the real show will be after this.

The setlist was a perfect balance of Pink Floyd classics, tracks from the Gilmour era (A Momentary Lapse of Reason and The Division Bell), along with a few songs from Rattle That Lock and, of course, his latest album Luck and Strange.

I think Gilmour’s latest album is fantastic, and it was incredible to hear some of those songs live.

I can’t wait for the shows at the Royal Albert Hall!”
