Tonight marks the second of three sold-out performances by David and his band at the Hollywood Bowl. Despite the chilly weather, the band delivered an impressive show! The energy from the night before was still present, everyone gave it their best, and sounded exceptional. David experienced a humorous lapse in memory while introducing the band, forgetting drummer Adam Betts’ name, which brought upon laughter from both him and the audience, a lighthearted moment typical of a person at his age. The setlist mirrored the previous evening’s, with the omission of “A Great Day For Freedom.” Notably, also there were some different lighting cues again during “Sorrow” and “Comfortably Numb,” with each song showcasing a unique visual experience at these Los Angeles shows, lighting genius Marc Brickman is really going all out on this tour!

In the final moments, just as the band were saying thank you and leaving the stage, keyboardist Greg Phillinganes enthusiastically exclaimed “Go Dodgers!” into the stadium, prompting a wave of applause as the Dodgers celebrated their World Series victory tonight. Anticipation builds for the final performance tomorrow night on Halloween!
