Nick Mason, the drummer of the band, who was greeted with whistling applause from his fans as soon as they stepped on the stage, gave a short speech by saying ‘Welcome’ to his fans in Turkish. Speaking as “It took me 57 years to come to Turkey for the concert”, Nick Mason kicked off the concert with cheers. Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, which gave its first concert in Turkey, provided an unforgettable night to the music lovers who filled the Volkswagen Arena.

During the night, Pink Floyd songs were sung in unison. Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets sang songs from Pink Floyd’s debut album, as well as songs from his 1972 album Obscured by Clouds. In addition, they played the song “Echoes” for the first time at this concert.The band opened the concert with the song “Daysö” and included “Arnold”, “Emily”, “Astronomy”, “Bike”, “Saucerful”, “Burning Bridges” in the repertoire they prepared for the concert. , “Remember Days”, “Fearless”, “Childhoods End”, “If / Atom / If” Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets sang 18 songs in total.

THE GROUP VISITED HISTORICAL PLACES IN ISTANBUL

Expressing their excitement for the Istanbul concert, band members Nick Mason, Gary Kemp, Guy Pratt, Lee Harris and Dom Beken visited historical places in Istanbul before the concert. The group, who took lots of photo shoots, also shared a photo taken in front of the Hagia Sophia Mosque on their social media accounts.
