Yeah, very good show.
Way better than I thought it was going to be. Everything was pretty much like the other shows except no bubbles during Set the Controls**, and they let the Pig go flying once it reached the lawn.
Also the operator of the pig was dressed in a bloody apron like a butcher.
Roger spent a ton of time on the left side of the stage right in front of me, pretty much for the entire encore.
Roger seemed to like the crowd very very much and talked a bit more than usual before the encores saying how we were a terrific audience and how “You’ve been great to us all these years, Philidelphia.” The show was very moving at times, just overall great.

** Later reports say this is incorrect, and that in fact there were bubbles during Set The Controls!
I flew up from the Florida Keys to go to the show. I went with my dad, who saw Roger back in the 80’s.
We got to the venue early, because of all the rumors about 2 hour lines. So we had some time to kill and walked around and look at some of the merchandise. They had a lot more then I thought! I ended up buying a hat and the program. They are beautiful.
The show kinda started at 8pm sharp, because that is when the screen went from still, to a hand smoking, changing the radio stations, and sipping up a drink. ABBA came on for a split second and the hand quickly changed it (LOL)!
Then Roger came out about 8:20 and went into In The Flesh. The lighting was WAYYYYY more impressive then I thought it would be. Video would be unable to do the show justice. Then he did Mother of course, followed by Set The Controls… there were bubbles.
Then he gave us SOYCD, Cigar, WYWH, SD (it was funny in a sad way at how many people got up to do whatever after WYWH) and Fletcher. Perfect Sense was next it truly was a highlight, and it was the first song where you could really hear the quad sound!
The inflatable spaceman looked eerily real. The explosion during Perfect Sense was awesome! P.P. was amazing!
Next: Leaving Beirut, I JUST LOVED IT! The couple sitting in front of me DID boo! I was prepared for this so I OUT cheered their boos (my dad thought they would try to hit me). It was actually fun. And they ending up leaving!!! I heard of people walking out but I didn’t really believe it. The people who agreed with the song and who wanted to share the message would stand up and cheer, a lot of people sat. But, in the end I didn’t here many boos, the only booing I actually heard was the couple in front of me.
There was so much going on during Sheep, it was just overwhelming! You had Roger, the screen, the lights, the pig, and the pyro. I watched the pig come right toward me, then it made a left and up the isle across from me to the field. They let it go towards the end of Sheep, and I wanted to see it fly so we ran out into the field and watched it, till we could barley see it. At the same time I was trying to see the awesome pyro. The song was ending so we hurried up and went back into the “house” And walked down as close as we could while roger was saying “be back in 15….”
The security was out of control so the only time you could sneak up front for a close glimpse was right before the intermission and the very end of Comfortably Numb. I am glad I knew the set list so I could plan this out.
Intermission was about 15 mins, as Roger said it would be.
Dark Side was terrific. Once again the lights were so much better then expected!!! On The Run, was one of the highlights of this set. IT WAS LOUD, with videos of a train and race-cars during the appropriate parts. P.P. got 3 standing ovations during The Great Gig in the Sky, and they cheered LOUD!
The lighting on Us and Them was like Pulse with the white wash like lights, at the appropriate time. THIS WAS A TIGHT BAND, the entire concert sounded like it was on CD. I have been to allot of shows and I never heard audio so clear, and a band so tight!
The encore was cool, but it left you wanting more. MORE!!! The pyro during Bring The Boys… was HOT and large! During comfortably numb my dad and I walked up as far as we could to the stage, I got a good look!
I am so impressed. I have been watching the videos on here and youtube for months, they should be banned because they do this show NO JUSTICE! It seems to me the videos make the lighting look cheap, and you miss so much.
My only complaint was the security was out of control, very rude, and annoying. The crowd was a bit more wild then I expected for Roger (but i was 100% sober so maybe it just seemed that way). And to top off the perfect night, as we were walking to the car we heard sirens, I looked, it was the band being escorted in their limos, cars, and vans right by us!!!
