 PINK FLOYD THE WALL CHILD’S FACE MASK + HAMMER A genuine and authentic prop mask as worn by the kids from in the Pink Floyd The Wall Movie. This rare mask is a face mask of ‘pink’ made of plastic, and hand painted pink by the production crew, with burnt-out eyes and mouth. A similar mask was sold on a prop auction site (www.propstore.co.uk) for £750 but that was sold in a matter of days being up there! This mask originally came from the Pink Floyd Christie’s auction back in the early 1990’s.Dimensions: 9” x 7” Also included in this sale is a prop hammer ‘head’ used in ‘Pink Floyd The Wall.’ The hammer is plaster cast and hand painted silver by the production crew and was used in the Bob Geldof concert sequence/scene and can clearly be seen behind him, with red shafts. Unfortunately the hammer suffered some damage at the end of the production, (i.e. there is no ‘red’ shaft and one claw has snapped off ) but this is still a desirable and very rare item!  PINK FLOYD THE WALL – PROP HELMET A rare prop helmet made for the cult Pink Floyd movie ‘The Wall’ The black helmet features a padded cushion to the front and the crossed hammers emblems to each side. The crossed hammers emblem is seen often through out the movie on various costumes and set dressing. This was probably a prototype helmet, produced but never made it on screen. Obtained via mail at a time when Pink Floyd was freely signing autographs via mail. Sadly, Richard Wright is no longer with us and with David Gilmour and Nick Mason no longer sign autographs in the mail nor in person, so this is truly a rare and sought after item.
